Universal Key-Locking Insert Installation Tool for KNM 12X1.25. Works with equivalent Thin Wall Metric Fine inserts & Keenserts® including 77121, 66156.

Product Details


  • Universal Hand tool used to install key-locking inserts after drilling and tapping hole. See tables for correct dimensions.
  • To use tool:
  • Drill with a standard tap drill and countersink with a standard 82°-100° countersink tool
  • Tap new threads with a standard tap
  • Screw in the insert until it is 0.25-0.70 mm (0.010-0.030 inch) below the surface. Insert keys locate the key-locking insert at the correct depth.
  • Drive keys down with several hammer taps on the specified installation tool.
