Metric Heavy Duty & Thickwall (KNHM and KNHML) Keensert® style threaded inserts are designed for solutions that demand high strength and corrosion resistance threads. The KNHM series is a non-locking variant, perfect for applications that require a strong, durable thread insert without the need for a self-locking mechanism. On the other hand, the KNHML variant features a self-locking mechanism, adding an extra layer of security by preventing loosening under vibration or dynamic loads. The locking keys in both series ensure stability, but in the KNHML series, the self-locking feature prevents fastener loosening over time. Made from 303 stainless steel, both metric variants excel in heavy-duty applications such as marine equipment or aerospace components, where exposure to moisture, chemicals, and harsh outdoor conditions requires a tough and rust-resistant thread repair or reinforcement solution.
